Community support is still our goal

Once upon a time there was an engaged group of citizens in unincorporated Fulton County, Georgia. Sprawl and changing legislation motivated these citizens to preserve their beautiful community. They formed the Chatt Hills Organizing Committee to research the viability of forming a city, and inform their neighbors so they could make an informed decision at the polls.

A referendum was held on June 19, 2007, and residents overwhelmingly voted to form the city of Chattahoochee Hill Country.

Now that the work of forming the city has finished, citizens are eager to support the city and build a strong community that will protect its vision.

Working in partnership with our newly elected mayor and council, citizens are signing up for Chattahoochee Hill Country Community Support -- a new citizens' volunteer group committed to serving the city.

While the community goes through the process of transitioning from the Organizing Committee to the Community Support group, we offer this Web site as a interim communications tool.
